Add the connector
In claude.ai, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. (Custom connectors are available on Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise.)
Paste and connect
Paste https://clearedfirst.com/mcp and select Connect. A Cleared page opens.
Approve
Cleared asks “Connect Claude to Cleared?” and shows exactly what Claude will be able to do. Select Allow — then try “What’s on my list?”

Using another MCP client? Point it at the same URL — Cleared supports standard remote MCP with OAuth, so most clients connect the same way.
Your data, your call
You approve. You can revoke.
- Nothing connects without you. Before Claude gets access, Cleared shows you exactly what it will be able to do — and you choose Allow or Don’t allow.
- Claude never sees your password. The connection uses OAuth 2.1 — the same standard behind “Sign in with Google.” You sign in on Cleared’s own page; Claude only gets a scoped token that expires automatically.
- Disconnect any time. Remove the connector in Claude’s settings and access ends. That’s it.
- Limited to your lists. Claude can manage lists and tasks — nothing else. And every AI prioritization it runs is undoable in the app.

Which Claude plans can connect to Cleared?
Custom connectors on claude.ai are available on Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Claude Code works too, as does any MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth. Cleared itself is free.
What exactly can Claude do with my list?
Everything you can: see your lists and tasks in priority order, add tasks (up to 50 at once), edit, complete, reopen, and delete them, set repeat rules, move tasks between tiers and lists, and run or undo Cleared’s AI prioritization. It acts only when you ask it to.
Is it safe to connect Claude to my tasks?
Yes. The connection uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE — Claude never sees your password, and you approve access on Cleared’s own consent page before anything connects. Access tokens are short-lived, and you can disconnect any time by removing the connector in Claude’s settings.
Do I need an API key or client ID?
No. Paste https://clearedfirst.com/mcp into Claude’s custom connector settings and Cleared handles registration automatically. The only sign-in is your normal Cleared account.
Why does it say my account can’t connect?
Connecting requires a Cleared account signed in with Google or Apple. Guest accounts can’t be linked — open app.clearedfirst.com, sign in properly, and try again.
Does this work with AI apps other than Claude?
Cleared’s connector is a standard remote MCP server, so any MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth can use the same URL. Claude on claude.ai and Claude Code are what we test against.
